If it is doing this from ALL applications then your print driver is corrupted and needs to either be reinstalled or swapped out with a different type. Photosmarts do not normally have access to Universal Drivers so your only real option is to uninstall and reinstall the driver.
If it is doing this from one or a few applications then the documents are corrupted and need to be re-created. You can either republish the document from another application or start over from scratch. Copy/pasting content from one document to another risks carrying over the defect too. I'd suggest as an easy work around republishing as .PDF and printing it in that format instead.
