OfficeJet 8620 can't enable web services/connect to internet

Trying to turn on eprint for a small office (4 users).  setup printer, hooked to ethernet LAN. Connectivity settings on status report says "Online".  I've updated the firmware to FDP1CN1416AR

Here's the network/setup scenarios that have not worked:

DHCP: no

Static: no

Change DNS to Google public: no

Wired: No

Wireless: no

On screen: no

Over the internet: no (????)

Reset printer: no

So, I can' connect to the printer from a desktop via the printer's ip address...but it won't enable web services because "it can't connect to the internet" ?

Anyone have any tips?
