Thanks for your reply. My savviness is definitely open to question, at a minimum.
I think your comment about whether it's worth it to get to bottom of issue is worth considering, especially if by "reload" you mean get a new printer. I would probably do that if I were certain it would be the solution. If the new printer has the same basic software I might be right back where I started.
If I were more comfortable manually uninstalling the software by making registry edits and deleting folder I would try it. I'd need a point by point set of instructions, though.
Today's uninstallation effort left me with two folders, one of which is in a folder titled "HP" and filled with the uninstaller program data and has over 300 mbs and too big for this purpose. I have "log file" from that folder which I am attaching.
There is alos 7z folder which I have zipped up and also attached. It is smaller and hopefully has info that is useful.
Both of these are connected to today's running of the Enterprise Scrubber program which, as usual, crashed before completion.
