I have a pretty new OJ-x451dn that is giving me the error in the subject line. I have tried all the different resets I've found online (Hard reset, pulling cartridges and resetting, etc etc) and nothing has helped. We have several x476 printers and all have been replaced (some up to 3x) for the same type error message. I opened a warranty case with HP 3 days ago and they haven't gotten around to even acknowldeging it yet and based on experience with the x476's it usually takes 3-4 weeks to get one of these printers fixed/replaced by HP.... so while I have to sit around and wait for HP's so called customer support to grant me the honor acknowledging my warranty case... my question is... since apparently there is a major design defect with the "ink system" on these printers, can anyone provide information on how to fix the problem? The dozen x476 &x451 printers we have are going to start coming off warranty soon and it would be nice to know how to fix them ourselves instead of having to throw these into the dumpster after only a year of use.
