HP ENVY 5530 - won't maintain wireless internet connection

My HP Envy 5530 won't maintain a wireless internet connection. I've tried all the steps in various articles online, including power sourcing the router and the printer, uninstalling and re-installing, disabling all firewalls, and making a static IP address.

 

After I configure wireless settings on the printer (i.e. select the correct network and enter the passcode), the printer works fine for approximately 45 mins. After that, it falls off the network -- although the blue light on the printer states that the wireless connection is good. Also, all the reports always show everything as good. However, documents fail to print because there is no established connection. When I run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, it says there's no network connection. It then prompts me to reconfigure wireless settings, which I do -- and which solves the problem, but only temporarily. After the connection is established again, I hit the "fix printing" button and it tells me that everything is good. But then the printer falls off the wireless again within the hour.

 

Any suggestions?
