This is not a paper quality issue. It is either a driver problem on the connected computer or a memory glitch on the printer that can be cleared by performing an NVRAM/Cold reset.
First thing I would do is try to confirm if this problem happens from multiple computers or not. If the problem is only on one computer then you know this is most likley a driver problem. The solution would be to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver with the latest software update from http://support.hp.com.
If the problem is happening from multiple computers then chances are there is a glitch on the printer that needs to be cleared. In that case you should perform an NVRAM reset and then reconfigure your printer.
