That would indicate an issue with the pc and not the printer. Perhaps you need to post to a Microsoft board to find out what is wrong with the printing system on the computer. After reboot of the bad computer you may want to go into services and stop and restart the print spooler to see if the printer is now online and would give you some information to post with your question on the Microsoft board. Also do you have any other drivers for HP products on that PC or did it have other printer drivers installed at one time as you may then want to use the scrubber utility on the install CD to remove all instances of HP software and then reinstall again.
