I have some problem with two identical HP multifunction printers (HP LaserJet Professional M1217nfw MFP). We have two of them in the same network and I have installed them with installation CD. Printing works fine, but we have problem with scanning. We are using HP stock program for scanning and that program just shows only the latest installed printer.
I can see in device manager, that there should be more scanners, but it shows just one (the latest installed). If I reinstall the first one, than just the first one is listed there. Maybe the problem is related, because these two printers are the same model and have the same name in that scanning program. The problem occurs on all computers (Win Vista, 7 and Server 2012). Has anyone experienced the same?
