I have a Laserjet M1217 nfw MFP.
Since a few days, trying to scan a document from ReadIris leads to the following error message: "Unable to communicate with the scanner."
I installed the drivers and the same software product on another computer to see if the problem was not the PC. I have the same symptoms.
It is not completely systematic because once I could scan a document again, but then again I had the symptom.
I tried to stop the printer for several tens of seconds, reboot the computer ... nothing works.
I tried the printer with scanner diagnostic software (Print and Scan doctor), the application does not manage to reach the scanner either.
Otherwise printing works very well, and also the photocopy feature.
Is someone able to tell me what's wrong or what to do?
