I have a Color Laserjet 2840. Scanning function will work to scan bitmap. With adobe, no luck. A smeared diagonal lined image is all I EVER get. HP was not helpful. I bought a new Epson. I will find out how they will be if I need support.
My thinking... it's your NAMED PRINTER... NO SUPPORT FROM HP = NO SUPPORT FOR THEIR PRODUCT.
