Excellent, this is working today.
When I removed the drivers, the hpcu155u.inf file could not be removed. Access denied.
I installed the HP Universal Printer Driver PCL 5 in traditional mode, it added a software printer as it should.
I plugged in the printer and it installed as normal. It found the HP Universal Printer Driver PCL 6 driver and used that. I went ahead and switched the driver to the PCL5 version.
Right now, it's working. Hopefully it stays.
