Hi, guys...
I'm seeing this same thing (printer does not recognize that the T2 roller (CB459A) has been replaced), but not only with the roller; I have the same symptom with the image transfer kit (CB463A), as well.
I've pulled and manipulated the spring contact (mine was also leaning to the left, which I thought may have been overshooting the flat contact on the roller assembly), and have done my level best to watch it push down when the roller "lays" on top of it (I wish it made a more satisfying "snap" going into place, or required a screw to secure it - the assembly, that is). Still, the printer boots up and complains that it is in need of a new roller and a transfer kit.
As far as I can tell, both are genuine HP parts in sealed HP boxes.
Any thoughts on how these two components might be related in this regard?
