I have tried multiple time to install the full featured software for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g series but still doesn't work right. I can not use the software to program the scan to computer buttom on the front of the Office Jet Pro and also the services do not work under the tool box. Seems like a Visual Basic C++ issue and permissions that what I can tell. I even reformatted my computer to find out if my OS was the problem. I also noticed that the installer crashes when uninstalling the officejet driver itself. Maybe something related to BPD. Please let me know if there is some patch to try. I am also using windows 8 pro x64.
