If the diagnostics state the printhead condition is "good," and I have replaced a non-empty cartridge and tried two different brand new cartridges, but that ink color will still not print, do you have a suggestion?
I have an HP Photosmart 5520. The black ink quit printing, so I tried to replace the cartridge. The printer states the ink is full, but the rectangular spot under "black" on the Print Quality Diagnostic page is completely white/blank. I ran the clean printhead function and even the advanced cleaning and have aligned the printer. The sheet that I am supposed to scan after the alignment cannot even be recognized by the printer and it won't scan because there is no black ink on it anywhere.
Thanks for any suggestions beyond what I've already tried (as I've tried more than once).
