I would check with AutoCAD to see what the driver requirements are for thier application to function correctly.
All HP would have to offer you would be the drivers listed for WinXP under your printer models support page. If the printer specific drivers are not available for WinXP then you would likely need to use a UPD. UPDs were compatible on WinXP before, who knows about if they still are or not since WinXP is no longer a supported OS.
