I have 2 hp officejet 4635 in my office we have been having problems with one of the that we use for faxing, printing and scanning. At anyone time we would have problems with one of the three, either the HP laptop would drop the printer all together, and when reinstalling it we would loose either the fax or the scanning. At the moment we can not automatically recieve a fax. I swapped out on 4635 with the other that has never been used as a fax. It also will not pick up automantically. After much wasted time with support we are told its a hardware issue on both printer. Because they are out of warrany they are no help to me. So here I have two printer barely a year old and both have the same "hardware" issue but its my problem to deal with I am getting no further support, suggestions or compensation from HP. Needless to say we will no longer be a part of the HP family, We have been a strong supporter of HP but when they cant even admit they built a dud and take care of it, well, I'm out.
