I was using the CM2320fxi MFP only for printing issues on my computer (over the home network) till today. Therefore I have not installed the HP Solution Center on my computer. I directly installed the printer via the Windows 7 "System" -> "Hardware and Printers" -> "Add printer"
With this, printing is possible without any problems.
Now, I would like to be able to scan a document with the CM2320fxi MFP. Therefore I try to install the HP Solution Center. During the installation process one is asked if one would like to use the printer over the network or a USB interface. As I would like to use it over our home network, I take the option "over the network". After a few seconds the same message appears again and I take the option "over the network" again, and so on..
Why does the HP Solution Center not recognize the printer over the network? Obviously the printer is accessible over the network, as printing is possible without problems.
