Rcv a call from a client, They replaced the MFP (Samsung) with an Laserjet Pro M225 MFP. Since then, they are unable to Print to Fax from the Web app they use. Yes, this worked with the replaced printer. When clicking the print button in web app, an box indicating buffering is occurring. (little green indicator bar) After which I.E. will freeze requiring Task Manager to quit. This happens Only in I.E. and on any web page. If I goto any page and choose File |Printand then the fax portion of this printer, it will fail. And yes, you heard right. Chrome and Firefox are unaffected. They will print to fax from web page all day. An event id of 1002 will be deposited in the eventlog when this occurs. Searches online with combinations including this code and I.E. 11 suggests resetting I.E settings to default may resolve issue. This did not work. Putting the web page in compatability view and allowing pop ups did not resolve issue either. Before wasing more time, I am checking to see if others had this problem and found a resolution.
