If the red(Magenta) colors are horrible then you should consider swapping out your Magenta toner cartridge as the first step. If you happen to have access to a 2nd x576 then swap the Magenta cartridges and see if the problem follows to the other printer or not.
ColorLoc paper? You dont need color locking paper for laser printers. All a laser needs to do is charge the paper so that it can attract toner particles before rolling through the fuser to bond the particles to the paper.
