You are referring to a manual duplex feature right? I do not see any mention of a duplexer being installed on the LJ3200.
If your goal is to manual duplex then your problem is driver related. Take a look at your print driver and tell us what kind it is if possible. HP has Universal Print Drivers that can be downloaded and installed on any machine. One of the UPDs may be able to restore the functionality that is not included on the print driver you are using by default from Win8.
That being said your printer model looks to be fairly old. It may only take printer specific drivers in which case im sure HP is not going to develop a new one for Win8 if they havent already. If your printer is incompatible with UPDs then your only option to restore this functionality would be to replace the printer with one that supports Win8.
OJPros are inkjet based printers. They are not as "good" as laser but in most cases the differences are not noticeable. You should pick and chose a printer model that fits your needs and budget accordingly. OJPros are ideal for folks who need to print regular documents every now and then. Lasers generally cost more but with that price you get better reliability, service manuals for DIY fixit people and higher quality output for professionals. You tend to see more lasers in the work place and inkjets at home.
