I have an HP MFP425 on my small office network. I have 5 static ips on my public subnet with a Motorola NVG510 (U-verse)
I have one of these static ips manually assigned to the printer. The other 4 ips are 3 wired ethernet desktops and 1 wireless laptop.
If I do not shut the printer off at night, when I come in the next morning, the printer display screen is frozen on "Initializing". This will also happen during the day. I have to shut down the printer and restart and it works fine.
So far I have tried assigning an ip from the DHCP pool, but same thing.
Any idea what is going on?
