Did you do a full disk wipe or partial clear before installing the firmware?
These printers are Futuresmart, there can be times you need to wipe the disk partition and this will clear the running firmware, a complete disk clear will also clear the encryption key.
The error you have could be a corrupt download so I would download again, perform a partial disk clear or full disk clear, put the firmware on a thumb drive and perform the update through the pre-boot menu.
To enter Pre-boot, power up, when the three LED go on together (after about 30-45 seconds) press the STOP key, you will enter Preboot menu.
Use 3 and 9 to navigate up and down, 6 to select, 5 to go back.
Go to Administrator, then Clean disk to clear all the disk
then select Download and Thumb drive, the firmware should be visible, navigate to it and select it (6).
Once complete, press 5 to go back until you are at the main menu, remove the thumb drive and press Continue, the printer will reboot, install the running firmware and encryption keys and will return to the main install screen for language options etc.
I have had one or two Future smart updates where they failed but wiping the disk and performing it again always worked, it's literally impossible to brick a Futuresmart printer.
