Doesnt seem like there is a scan driver available for your OS on this printer model:

You would have to find a similar printer model that has a scan driver posted and attempt to install that one instead.  I do not have any suggestions for you as to which model you should try though.  This printer model is so old that it may pre-date the time when HP posted full software solutions to thier support website.
