Every 49 error is different. If you want a chance at a specific solution then please post the entire 49 error message.
Some 49 errors are related to the hardware. In my experience that has meant a bad fuser.
Most 49 errors are associated with a bad document in the print queue. All you need to do is remove the bad document from your print queue and reboot the printer. The next time you need to print that document then try modifying it to print as a different file type. In my experience the most common software related 49 errors are bad PDF documents. When that happens we enable the Print as Image feature from within PDF and the doc will normally print without issues.
