Hi all, I just ordered, receieved and installed our new MFP M476dn printer. Functions well but we are having intermitent problems with either it losing network connectivity or the software losing the mapping/connection. I have set the printer up with a static IP address and all of us have our software configured to use that address. We are able to print/scan, etc. and can go all day without any issue but then for some unknown reason, to me anyway, we lose our connection and upon attempt to print again the PCs go into a hanging mode while the print job appears to be spooling. It hangs whatever application we are using and the only resolution I've found is to reboot the PC. I've tried restarting the print spooler service, I've tried clearing the printer queue...no help.
To add, when this issue comes up I can communicate wiht the printer using the HP Printer Status application which tells me this isn't a network connectivity problem but rather a software issue.
I've verified that we have the latest software application and drivers and we have a mix of Windows 7 and 8.1 machines; all 64 bit and we are having the same issue on all of them.
Any suggestions?
