Please start your own thread relating to your current problem. What you posted here has nothing to do with the original poster who is asking for help with scanner settings.
Look at a few current threads to determine how to format your question. All new questions need to post basic information like which printer model, OS and error messages are involved. Otherwise all we can do is suggest to look at the User Guide for suggestions.
