Auto select paper tray only when media present

Hi

Can anyone help me set up my HP X476dw MFP printer to select tray 1 only when it detects paper in the tray?

At present the printer will always print to Tray 2, even if there is paper present in tray 1. What I would like it to do is print to tray 1 when I place paper in that tray (so in effect it ignores tray 2 and prints to tray 1 ), then when there is no paper left in tray 1 it will go back to print from tray 2.
