I have a laserJet 300 MFP, which I recently had to swop for a replacement under warranty. I took the ink cartridges out of the old machine and placed them in the new one, but now I get a message telling me that a used supply has been installed, supply status is unavailable and features requiring supply status may also be unavailable. Since these cartridges are genuine HP ones, why can't the printer recognise then and give the supply status?
