Hello all. I've searched to no avail for a solution to my problem. Here's the background:
I had set the Admin password to the EWS but forgotten it. In order to start anew, I've read that a cold reset (power on printer, hold down 6, scroll using 3 and 9, choose Cold Reset) could fix the problem. I performed said cold reset and now the EWS will no longer respond. I enter the IP address (entered manually) and no web config page appears. I can ping the printer, I can print to the printer, I can no longer reach the printer via HTTP/HTTPS (prior to the reset I could, but not get past the password prompt).
Does anyone else have any experience with this issue? I can't seem to think of what else to do to get it up and going. From what I've read, it should auto-start when you power on the printer.
