Dear All,
I have a stonge problem with my CM2320nf Color laserJet.
Some one reported my, the printer always reboot. After investigation, I observed the printer reboot while a job is printing. If I remove the nwtrok cable the printer does not reboot and it's in stand by mode.
In order to know who is pirnting a bad document,
1) I disconnect the network cable from the printer
2) I setted the printed IP address on a Unbuntu PC
3) I open a terminal I lunch the command : #sudo tcpdump -i eth0 port 515, in to check who is sending a job
4) Form my PC, I sent a job and I could see in the command, that my job is received my the Unbuntu.
5) Then I wait 3 days to see who is trying to print on the IP printer. Result = No body sent a job to the printer from the 3 previous days
Then I reconnect the ethernet cable, and the printer reboot after displaying "printing document"
I also did a "permanet storage init" and reconfigure the printer, but it did not help.
I also tryed with another network cable, but it did not help.
I am sure that no job are sending to the printer, from a desktop.
Why the printer, continualy reboot while the network cable is connected to the printer? Keeping in mind apparently no job is sent from a laptop or desktop from my group???
Many thank for your help.
Cheers
