Hello! I have a HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer, of which I am very pleased. However, the HP ToolboxFX application is quite tricky to use.
When I double-click on the HP ToolboxFX icon from the right-side taskbar, an error message pops up and says that it is impossible to connect to the printer, that I should check if the printer is supplied with electricity and the USB cables are OK etc. After this message pops up twice, the HP ToolboxFX windows opens normally and shows that my printer is there (yay!), but is not connected (boo!), therefore the application cannot show me anything about it. Despite all these events, the printer works just fine, both printing and scanning! I have managed to successfully uninstall / delete / reinstall all HP software on my computer, but HP ToolboxFX proves itself to be VERY reluctant to communicate with my printer, no matter what I do.
My computer has Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed and works perfectly.
Please help me make this application work!
