There are no scanner installation files in the download that you selected. You will have to be on your own for scanner support on this one. That means you will have to aquire the scan drivers via MS update and use 3rd party scanning applications.
Your best bet is to run the scan to email or scan to folder features of the printer. To use those features your printer will need to be network installed and have access to an email server or shared area.
