E-mail troubles with my 4101mfp

Hello, I have a HP Laserjet 4101mfp and has e-mail capabilities.  This use to work years ago, but last year (or maybe two) it has not.  I have tabled this problem long enough and finally able to work on it after all this time.  So here is what I have

Here is a screen shot of the sending option.  I have Comcast as my ISP.  Now I thought the issue is with Comcast and the printer; meaning maybe Comcast changed ports and in the 4101mfp you cannot change ports (I am not sure of this though)?  So I tried a free company called SMTP2GO where you can use their gateway server to send e-mails from anywhere.  I entered their smtp and same results.  My error is this

If I use the panel on the printer I select "Send Options" it waits and then comes back "gateway not responding".  If I use the Comcast smtp, same message.  I don't know what has change or whats going on, it just appears that the printer is trying to establish a connection to either Cocmast or SMTP2GO and it just ends there.

What I have at my home is this;

3 computers, Windows 7 64-bit Pro

Printer is HP Laserjet 4101mfp (networked) with static IP address

Router is Netgear WNDR4700

Cable modem

ISP is Comcast

I don't know where to go with this or what to fix.  Maybe if someone here knows what is going on with my printer; they can let me know what other settings I can check and to also fix this issue I am having.  I want to be able to send scanned documents using my e-mail addresses located within the printer address book.  As mentioned it use to work back in the day, but now it does not.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks
