Hi,
User has for the first time today replaced the Black cartridge in a HP LaserJet 300 MFP. Color cartridges are still the originals.
Even though the cartridge is genuine, on EVERY print job, the user is asked to authenticate. Even when authenticating and confirming all 4 cartridges are genuine, the message keeps coming back.
The separate HP Toner Authentication software is NOT installed on this system, this is coming up as part of the HP Status and Alerts application. I cannot find a setting to turn this off.
What can we do to get that message to stop coming up?
