OfficeJet 7610 how to add custom paper sizes for architects - 12 x 18 or Arch B

My architect client just purchased an OfficeJet 7610 for half size architectural drawing working copies (12 x 18 or Arch B).  Since I got involved I have noticed the specs for the printer do not include this paper size and cannot locate a way to add this size or an equivalent using the latest full drivers that actually works.

He has an architect buddy who has a similar printer (OfficeJet 7500A) but in the MacOSX environment and it works fine with this size which is why he purchased this printer.

Environment is Windows 7 SP1 with latest updates and the specific software used to print is Adobe Acrobat XI that contains a print to pdf from Autocad 2012.

Is there anything at all that can be done to get this to work for him?  Because the 12 x 18 paper fits into the paper tray he feels it should be able to print but while it does print to scale it is offset by about an inch. That last thing that seemed close was using one of the A3 variants.

Thanks in advance!

Bob Headrick, are you there :)??  I did see this based on some work you did with a client on the 7500A and plan to give this a try on Monday.  Can't seem to post on the Enterprise forum so posting here in hopes of some help.
