I can access the printer on the LAN at the ip address assigned to it. I can access the printers web interface at that address also.
The real problem with the printer, and the reason I am questioning the hard drive, is that the machine is not sending anything out over the network. That is, it will not scan to email ("email gateway not responding" error), it will not send to folder (HP wizard says the setup is correct), and it will not Autosend to my email.
The machine was sending email fine, and then about three weeks ago it just stopped. No changes were made to the settings, it just stopped.
I have tried everything I can think of including, cold reset, hard drive re-initializing, re-inputting all network info.
Do you have any suggestions?
Could the hard drive cause this to happen?
Hard drive is Fujitsu MHZ2080BH G2.
