Hello, how long has this been going on? Was there a power surge or outwage recently? Also, how long have you had this machine, might it still be under warrenty? What you could try first is power off and unplug for 30sec to a min. and see if that helps any. If this machine is still under warrenty then I would suggest calling HP.
