The HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525 - flow and nonflow printers do the same thing. The company I work for has spent 10s of thousands of dollars on these printers. Then 2 newest ones are doing the same thing right after hooking them up. HP help is the worst. We've been having this issue since this past summer. The HP phone tech is upgrade firmware, downgrade firmware.. none of it works. In fact the newest firmware blacks out the control panel. XEROX sends a repair person the next day for their printers. I just told my coworker (we are IT) that ordering HP printers is insane. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. We waste so many man hours on these printers. I am pushing to move to XEROX; atleast they have good customer service and don't stick us with bricks and boat anchors.
